September 1st already. WOW! I'm in the mood for fall. Football has started, mornings and nights are starting to feel cool and crisp, school starts next week, we are going camping which includes trick-or-treating the weekend after this...fall is definitely in the air!
And with fall this year, I am bringing back The Creativity Project. I am going to be giving this a seasonal focus.
Here is my plan for the fall version of the creativity project.
- Today, I am sharing the idea of a mini album I will be working on to go with the Fall Creativity Project.
- Friday, I'll share my organizational process for making this a fun and easy project to do.
- Sunday, I'll share a list of creative/fun things you can do this fall.
- Tuesday, I'll begin the Fall Creativity Project. Labor Day weekend seems to mark the end of summer for us and with school starting the next day I figured it would be a perfect time to start having more fun this fall and recording our memories while we do it!
- Then on a daily to weekly basis I will share my pages and what I did for The Fall Creativity Project here. I'll also be sharing some techniques and fun tips along the way.
If you aren't familiar with The Creativity Project, the basic idea is to do something creative/fun on a more daily basis. You can read more about the idea here. I started this at the beginning of last year and it was a ton of fun, had a lot of followers and I totally miss it! So, I'm bringing it back this fall!
My idea for the fall version of this is to provide you all (and me!) with a list of some fun things we can do this season and then as we do them we can record the memories we are making in a fun little mini album and some layouts or whatever works for you.
I created this 6x6 mini album using the Imaginisce September sketch created by Aida Haron as my blueprint for the cover. I am not creating any of the inside pages beforehand. For, anyone that might choose to follow along you might want to setup your album ahead of time like Ali does for her Daily December albums or you can just create each page from scratch as I will be doing.
I plan to just put in some pictures and some words about my experience in this mini album. I still plan to make full size layouts for the bigger memories we will make this fall.
Anyone want to join me?? I'd love to have you play along with me!! This will make for a very fun fall, full of memories to treasure and cute album to show off! I'll have more details as each day unfolds!
Let me know if you are going to play along...no pressure...I just like company!
Some more fun details on my album cover...
