This album is based on a class that Stacy Julian is teaching this September. She asked me to create my version of this with products I love and gave me permission to use it as a design team project so I'm happy to be able to share it with you all today!

It's Tuesday (Sketch day).
This is 2 weeks in a row.
Plus, 2 post in one day.
Just felt an earthquake here in Michigan.
The world really must be ending. Ha, kidding! But I am pretty proud of myself for posting on time and two weeks in a row!!
So, here's a sketch for this week! I'm not totally sure how I'm going to use this one, but I'll be putting it to use before next week!

Let's pretend it's Tuesday ok! And that I didn't take forever to finally get a sketch up!
Here's my first weekly (or as frequently as I can pull off!) sketch!
I based the sketch off of this image from the Anthropology Facebook page. I don't intend to base all of my sketches off other images, but I just oved the circles on this!
I will be working on my layout tonight using this sketch. I'm going to use this design to create a page about Katelyn getting her ears pierced. I plan to use a lot of Glue Arts Raisen's and U-Cut foam to create a bunch of dimension in my circles. I'm also planning some handstitching and stamping! I am excited to use this.

Summer doesn't leave much time for blogging so here's some random updates to get me a little bit caught up!
I'm still planning to keep up with my blogging schedule and get around to posting sketches...
We've been busy doing a lot of this. And it makes me feel a little bit guilty that I'm letting my other (self-imposed) responsibilities slide...but only a little!
I did take pictures for the week in the life project, but they are still on my camera!
I was going to do it again the next week and do it better, but Monday night I ended up with this...and it too me awhile to recover! Those lovely lines on my forehead are softball threads. (it's ok to laugh...i did!)
Once again I made the mistake of blinking and my babies are both now another year older. Katelyn celebrated her "golden" birthday by turning 6 on the 6th and now she wants everything gold/yellow this year. She's a funny girl. She celebrated this day by getting her ears pierced. Something she'll always remember.
Noah is now 10, but he's not a fan of getting his picture taken. Or if he lets me, he has to be doing something goofy! He's like his dad that way!
