28 Days of Sketches Giveaway...
My sketches class at Big Picture Classes is back!! Did you miss it the first time around? Would you like a chance to win a free seat in this class?
Here's a little bit more about my class 28 Days of Sketches!
In this fun workshop, Lisa Day (that's me!) will provide you with 28 daily sketches accompanied by exclusive layouts, colorful instructions and useful tips to help you create beautiful pages quickly.
Sketches are a fabulous starting point for creating your layouts. They provide the foundation, while still giving you creative control. Sketches leave you free to focus on the fun stuff like products, color, techniques and stories.
In this class, you will learn how to:
- Follow a sketch exactly or easily modify it to fit what works for you.
- Turn a single page sketch into a double page layout.
- Use the same sketch again and again to create unique pages.
- Modify sketches to work for different size layouts.
- Unleash your creative ability.
- Tell your stories.
- Use up some of your stash.
- Have fun and create beautiful pages!
Lisa (me again!) is a veteran BPC teacher. She's been published many times and currently designs for Lily Bee Design and Noel Mignon. Her philosophy on scrapbooking (and life!) is to just have fun and be yourself! By the end of this class, you will have 28 sketches you can use over and over again, an album full of completed layouts and the joy of having learned how to quickly create more pages!

March Take Twelve Layout...
I'm loving this crazy weather. It's like 40 degrees warmer here than normal. It's in the 80's!! I've already got a farmers tan going on...not cool! I saw that the weather is sort of flip flopped all over the place right now! What's it like where you are?
Today I just want to share my March Take Twelve layout. I focused on the color green! Speaking of green...the pictures show how not so green the yard was on the 12th. Today, the grass is getting really green and the trees are all budding. Such a difference a week makes. I'm really hoping it doesn't frost again though...but it's Michigan so I'm sure it will!
I used the Noel Mignon Homespun kit for my layout!!

March Take Twelve Challenge...
So how's everyone doing on the Take 12 Challenge? I'm still totally loving this challenge!! For March I focused on the color Green. I love that I can do something different each month to keep this project fun!
Here's how the color GREEN represented my day yesterday:
- Lots of green on the radar...rain, rain rain.
- Love my green coffee much and green coffee bag.
- Spinach...love spinach.
- Oops, ended up with green paint all over my hand working on a project.
- Added a splash of green to my layout yesterday.
- My view of the green(ish) outdoors while I was working out.
- More green on the radar, with a bunch of thunderstorms that brought some excitement in the form of tornado watches.
- My green car is in much need of a washing.
- My radio in the car is even sporting some green for the month.
- Dreaming of cutting down these ugly trees and putting in a garden this spring and growing lots of new green things.
- My husband painting our daughters toes green.
- My nails painted green for the month!

Lily Bee lovin...
Still playing catch up this week. Here's so projects I've created recently for Lily Bee!!
This card is created using the beautiful new Handmade collection. We made this to send to my Grandma to tell her we miss them and they need to hurry their butts back to Michigan! (If you are reading this Grandma, act surprised when you get it!!)
I love this page!! It turned out just like I had planned in my head!! This one uses mostly Head Over Heels.
