I've been gone for so long I'm sure I'm going to be talking to myself right now. I'm trying to find my way back to blogging and scrapbooking and sharing how I'm trying to live a happy life. So here it goes...
For most of 2012 I stepped back from scrapbooking and from blogging and from connecting with creative minds online. I needed to step away so I could find my way back to what I enjoyed about this. Time away was good. It took longer than I would have liked, but I gave it the time it needed. I'm finding now that I miss being online. I miss blogging. I miss connecting. I miss scrapbooking. I miss seeing and playing with new products. I miss recording memories. I'm happy I'm missing those things, because for awhile I couldn't even stand it!
I started Project Life in 2012 but at the end of the year I only had 6 finished pages to show. I loved the pages I had done. I am going to try again for 2013 and I'm working my way back through my 2012 album to get caught up. I will be sharing my process next week for anyone else that fell behind but isn't quite ready to call it quits...there's still hope! Hopefully I can share some tips that will help!
I'm working on my next Big Picture Class that I'm super excited about, but I took so much time off I've missed all the newest trends. What's your favorite product, trend, color, line, technique, etc. PLEASE SHARE!!

So glad to hear you're coming back! I've missed seeing your work! I've fallen off blogging last year too and not much scrapping work really since I let my design teams go.
I'm hanging out mostly at Studio Calico right now. Right now, the new CHA lines I'm looking forward to most is Maggie's new line with Crate.

So nice to hear from you Sheri! I didnt realize you stepped away from everything too! Will have to get on SC more. Maggies line is one I did see and Im totally in love. All the gold and pretty colors...amazing!

wonderful to see you out here again Lisa!!! I love your blog - I too stepped away, but I'm not much of a blogger ... more of a follower ;-) there were a ton of blogs that I used to read daily, but I found it took too much time away from me being a mom - stepping back is good and healthy - we need to regroup now and then - I hope this new year brings you motivation in ways that are nothing but good for you!!!

I just googled your name because I really loved both your sketch classes in BPC and wanted to see what else you 'do'. I have no expectations of what your blog should or should not contain - just a desire to find out more about a person who's layouts and designs have inspired and encouraged my own creativeness. Whatever you decide this blog is going to be, I hope you can enjoy your own journey and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
